Somalis in Mogadishu Optimistic About New Leadership  

Somalia has elected a new president after a prolonged election impasse that nearly pushed the country into conflict. Somali parliamentarians elected former president Hassan Sheikh Mohamud to replace Mohamed Abdullahi, commonly known as Farmaajo.
